Katoomba Out of School Hours Service

Who we Are:

Katoomba Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care is for 5 - 12 year primary-aged children from all cultures, backgrounds and abilities.

KOOSH is fully accredited through the National Childcare Accreditation Council.

The KOOSH staff aim to provide the children with a safe, caring, non-judgemental and relaxed environment.

KOOSH is auspiced by Katoomba Neighbourhood Centre Inc.

Facilities and What We Do:

The centre has a large indoor space that is divided into different areas for different activites There is a schoolbag area, a large kitchen and eating area, craft area, a TV/video/X-Box area, and a large semi closed in verandah.

The outdoor area is fully fenced. We have a fort, a cubby house, a sand pit, swings and a large grassed area for sports.

At Katoomba Out of School Hours Service we offer a wide range of activities.

We also offer free play, craft, cooking, board games,drama and lots more!

Bus Service

      Blue Mountains Bus Co. provides a bus service to and from St Canices,           Katoomba Public, North Katoomba Public, Leura &  Wentworth Falls               Public Schools.           

Vacation Care:

Vacation Care operates from 7.00am - 6.00pm daily through the school holidays.

We offer a wide range of activities throughout the holidays.

A programme outlining these activities is circulated to the schools two weeks' prior to the holidays.

Bookings can be made at this time.

CHILDREN NEED TO BRING THEIR SNACKS, LUNCH AND DRINKS EACH DAY.

Activities for Vacation Care include:

KOOSH HOURS:

Katoomba Before School Care:

7.00AM - 9.30AM 

Breakfast is provided in the cost. Bookings are essential!

Katoomba After School Care:

2.30PM - 6.00PM Bookings are essential as spaces are limited!

A nutritional afternoon tea is provided and special diets are catered for.

Vacation Care:

7.00AM - 6.00PM Bookings are essential as spaces are limited!
