Katoomba Neighborhood Centre Vale Street Project

The Vale Street Social & Recreation Service Centre is a social and recreation centre for people with a mental illness.

It is a project of Katoomba Neighbourhood Centre and is located at 21 Vale Street, South Katoomba.

Opening hours are Mondays, Wednesday and  Fridays between 10.30 am to 2.30pm.

      A bus pick-up and drop off to Katoomba Street / Railway Station is available, please phone Vale               Street Centre for details.

Morning Programs
Monday	Yoga / meditation. Group alternates each week, call for details	Midday :BYO Lunch
Wednesday	Art Group- Nina 11am-12.30pm	Midday: Lyn's lunch $4
Friday	Theatre Sports with Nina 11am to 12pm	Midday: BYO Lunch
Afternoon Programs
Monday	Creative Writing ends 22/02 Art Group with Nina 1pm to 2.30pm. Get A Handle On Food: booking required 01/03 08/03 15/03 22/03 Pottery:22/03, 10/03, 18/03, 15/03, 22/03, 29/03.
Wednesday	Computerswith Greg: 1.30 pm Learn at your own pace Aromatherapy Workshop with Nina: 1pm to 2.30pm. Make your own soaps, moisturiser, and special oil blends
Friday	Learn to Sew: 12.30 to 2.30pm 29/01, 05/02, 12/02, 19/02. Mind Body, Life: 05/03, 12/03, 19/03. Please note: These activiities will not run on BBQ days
Please Note: Although programs are correct at time of printing, some changes may be unavoidable		The Vale Street Centre is a drug. alcohol and smoke free environment	$4 BBQ. Participants Meeting and Birhday Party Friday Feb 26th and Friday March 26th. ( Volunteer Chefs Bakers and minute takers needed.)
Vale Street will be closed: April 2nd ( Good Friday) and April 5th ( Easter monday) and will re-open Wednesday April 7th
Free broadband and computer access, pool table, tea & coffee, games, art studio, table tennis, sport equipment, TV, Radio and DVD, WII, Kitchen, Shower.
The Vale Street Centre is a social and recreational service for people living with or recovering from mental health issue. Our activities are free of cost to participants.
