Volunteer Opportunites

The reception area of Katoomba Neighbourhood Centre (KNC) is completely staffed by volunteers. We welcome new people to join this hub of KNC. Training and support are provided. It is a great way to be part of a friendly team - to learn and be part of your community.

Community Visitors' Scheme

We support volunteers to visit residents of nursing homes who are isolated and lonely. Volunteers are always needed. Training is provided and some out-of-pocket expenses are reimbursed

Katoomba Volunteer Home Vistitors

Volunteers do home visits, assist with small tasks or provide respite care for clients or their carers. Volunteers are always needed. Training is provided and some out of pocket expenses are reimbursed.
